On December 11, 2014 California founder and CEO of face book Mark Zuckerberg thrill the world in Q & A session by claiming face book will soon add “DISLIKE” button. This piqued the interest of face book addicts who love to use “DISLIKE” button on posts or comments which are sad, abusive or spots as negativity. The “Dislike” button took much time to appear while the idea circulates on social media long back.

In a report by MASHABLE, the CEO said:

‘We need to figure out the right way to do it so it ends up being a force for good, not a force for bad,’ he said — because a ‘dislike’ or other negative sentiment could easily be used for the wrong reasons.”

According to MARK, its people’s desire to get “DISLIKE” feature to get many fake posts, comments on social network. The company is working in creating more appealing ideas for people to explicit their emotions on sad posts or comments. The idea is basically spreading more positivity and it need to use in positive way.

“One of things we’ve thought about for quite a while is what’s the right way to make it so that people can easily express a broader range of emotions,” Zuckerberg said.

The “Dislike” button revolutionary is still in question. On 12th December Mark cleared with Thumbs down to the “DISLIKE” button.

“I don’t think there needs to be a voting mechanism on Facebook whether posts are good or bad, I don’t think that’s socially very valuable or good for the community. But the thing that I think is very valuable is that there are more sentiments that people want to express than just positivity or that they like something. ” Zuckerberg said.
