Basant in Lahore Only 2026
The spokesperson for the District Administration Nankana Sahib has clarified that Basant in Lahore Only will be held on February 6, 7, and 8.
In this regard, an important meeting on kite flying was held under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner Nankana Sahib, Muhammad Taslim Akhtar Rao. The meeting was attended by the Additional Deputy Commissioner (General), police officials, and representatives of relevant departments.
Deputy Commissioner Muhammad Taslim Akhtar Rao stated that kite flying and kite manufacturing are strictly banned within the limits of Nankana Sahib. He emphasized that under the new Kite Flying Act, violators will face strict punishment and heavy fines. He further assured that the ban will be enforced effectively to protect the lives and property of citizens.
