Arrangements for Eid-ul-Fitr prayers completed in different parts of the country
The Ministry of Islamic Affairs has designated more than 15,000 mosques and 3,939 Eid-ul-Fitr prayer rooms for Eid prayers in different parts of the country.
According to the Saudi news agency SPA, the Ministry of Islamic Affairs says that special arrangements have been made in 15,948 mosques for Eid-ul-Fitr prayers in different parts of the country.
In addition to mosques, prayer rooms will also be arranged for Eid prayers in various open places, for which the administration of small mosques in those areas has been instructed where Eid prayers cannot be offered due to lack of space inside the mosque.
In the instructions issued by the Ministry of Islamic Affairs to the administration of mosques for offering Eid-ul-Fitr prayers, it has been said that Eid-ul-Fitr prayers should be offered 15 minutes after sunrise.
For the preparations for Eid-ul-Fitr prayers in Eidgahs and Jamia Mosques, the Ministry has appointed 6,000 male and female supervisors who will complete the preparation of mosques and prayer rooms under their supervision. The Ministry has directed the administration of mosques to strictly follow the issued instructions and any violation should be reported to the Ministry’s toll-free number 1933.
