SAHIWAL: Chancellor University of Sahiwal Governor Punjab Balighur Rehman on Saturday distributed degrees and medals among students at the first convocation of the University of Sahiwal (UoS).

A large number of university students, parents, faculty, academicians and intelligencia of the city participated in the University of Sahiwal convocation. Speaking to students, he said handling social media was a challenge and โ€œit itโ€™s our responsibility to share content after confirming it. No fake and immoral content should be spread around in the society.โ€

729 male/female studentsโ€™ of 2016 batch were awarded degrees, distinctions and medals in the convocation. This was the first convocation, 10 years after the University of Sahiwal inception. Vice chancellor Dr Javed Akhter
