Shahbaz Gill confessed to giving ‘lecture’
Prime Minister Imran Khan’s Special Assistant for Political Relations Shahbaz Gill admitted to giving a lecture at the American Public University.
He shared a conversation with Geo TV in a statement released on Twitter, in which it was stated that the question, Mr. Gill, did you buy a plot in Lahore, where did the money come from? In reply he said that he had bought the plot in Lahore, paid the money in cross check from his own account of Faisal Bank Blue Area, everything is declared in FBR.
In response to the second question, “Do you give lectures?”, Shahbaz Gill admitted that he would give lectures.
He also said that I am a professor, I do not commit corruption. Does not take contracts, does not take any salary from the government.
The Special Assistant said that I give lectures for my hobby and I have taken regular permission for it.
It may be recalled that it was reported that the Prime Minister’s Spokesperson Shahbaz Gul was on the payroll of an American public university and did not declare his salary and employment in the assets submitted to the Cabinet Division.
The University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, where Shahbaz Gul, a special assistant to the prime minister, has been appointed as a clinical assistant professor, confirmed to The News in a written reply that he is still employed by the university and has an annual salary of $12 124,770.92.
According to the university’s official response, Gul is teaching management and organizational behavior, marketing principles and retail principles.
