The price of petroleum products has been decreased by the Government of Pakistan.
The Finance Division released a notification on Friday evening regarding the revision and reduction of petroleum product prices.
The notification specifies that the price of petrol per liter has been reduced by one rupee. Subsequently, it will be sold at the new price of Rs 254.63 per liter.
Petrol was previously priced at Rs 255.63 per liter.
The same statement adds that the high-speed diesel price has not changed and would stay at Rs 258.64.
According to the Finance Division’s notification, the new petroleum product pricing went into effect at midnight on Friday and Saturday and will stay constant for the next 15 days.
According to OGRA authorities, pricing increases for petroleum goods were implemented in response to worldwide market variations.
