The Harrington jacket is a genuine classic (and we don’t use that term lightly). Since the middle of last century, it’s been a staple of stylish guys’ wardrobes. Worn by men like Steve McQueen and Frank Sinatra, embraced by style tribes ranging from punks to prepsters, the Harrington—with its ribbed cuffs and hem, buttoned stand collar, and tartan lining—has wound its way into the very fabric of modern menswear.

And right at the center of it all is Baracuta, the British company whose G9 model is arguably the gold standard of Harringtons. Thing is, up until recently, the G9 was generally a warmer-weather option, thanks to its lightweight cotton/poly fabrication.

Well, that’s no longer the case. Baracuta just released three leather G9s that are perfect for the cold days ahead. There’s one with a waxed finish ($790), a distressed version with a vintage feel ($1,125), and even a heavy-duty shearling option ($1,700). They’ve still got the versatility and style of their predecessors, just with a bit more heft to help you keep comfortable as the temperatures dip. Bring it on, Mother Nature.
