May 28 Declared National Public Holiday for Youm-e-Takbir

A public holiday has been established across the country in honor of Youm-e-Takbir.
According to the federal government’s holiday gazette, Youm-e-Takbir has been designated as a public holiday on May 28.
Last year, the federal government added May 28 to the list of public holidays, and Youm-e-Takbir would be observed nationwide.

Earlier, the Sindh government proclaimed a public holiday for Wednesday, May 28. The notification states that there would be a vacation in government and private institutions on Youm-e-Takbir, May 28.
It should be remembered that Pakistan replied to India’s nuclear explosions by launching blasts near Chagai on May 28, 1998.
