Pakistan cricket team captain Babar Azam has launched scholarships programmes for deserving and underprivileged children, according to a media outlet.

According to the media outlet, the right-handed batter along with his father Muhammad Azam attended an expo regarding O-level online education, organized by a private educational institution.

On the occasion, the No.1 ODI batter announced the Muhammad Azam Scholarship in the name of his father for deserving and underprivileged children.

“The future belongs to online education. Children should pay full attention to education so that they can become successful people,” the media outlet quoted Babar Azam as saying.
