Caretaker Federal Minister for IT and Telecommunications, Dr. Umar Saif, has revealed that the CEO of Nokia, the Scandinavian cellphone manufacturer, is expected to visit Pakistan soon.
This announcement came after a meeting between Dr. Umar Saif and Wille Eerola, Consul General of Pakistan in Finland and Chairman of the Finland-Pakistan Business Council. During the meeting, they discussed various matters, including increasing IT exports and the assembly of Nokia 4G phones in Pakistan.
Dr. Saif also mentioned that discussions on 5G and 6G technology would take place during the CEO’s visit to Pakistan
