Universityof Sahiwal Engages Local Journalists Ahead of 2nd Convocation

In a bid to foster transparency and communication, the University of Sahiwal’s Vice Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Javaid Akhtar, held an interactive session with local journalists from the • division.

Organized by the Principal Information Office, the event aimed to facilitate dialogue between the university administration and media representatives regarding upcoming milestones and ongoing projects.

The session focused on the upcoming 2nd convocation ceremony, scheduled for December 18, 2024, at the Sahiwal Arts Council. Prof. Dr. Javaid Akhtar shared insights about the event, where 1,324 graduates will receive their degrees and gold medals for academic distinction.

The discussion also touched on key topics such as student affairs, academic excellence, and infrastructure development within the university.

University officials, including Registrar Syed Ghulam Ali Asghar and Controller of Examinations Mr. Mubashir Saeed, responded to inquiries from journalists regarding ongoing developmental projects.

This engagement underscores the university’s commitment to maintaining open lines of communication with local media outlets.
