TikTok Beauty Influencer Shot During Live Stream in Mexico

A famous TikTok beauty influencer in Mexico was shot and killed during a live stream.

According to a foreign news agency, 23-year-old Valeria Marquez was shot in the Mexican city of Zapopan while she was live streaming on TikTok from her beauty salon.
TikToker Valeria had more than 200,000 followers on Instagram and TikTok. She received a parcel during the live stream and returned to the camera, but a few moments later she collapsed in her chair covered in blood and the live video continued.
According to the police, a suspect who opened fire on Valeria entered the salon and opened fire on her. This incident is a suspected femicide, that is, the murder of a woman on the basis of gender.
According to foreign media, the increasing violence and murders against women have once again raised questions about Mexico’s justice system.
