Three Accused in 14-Year-Old Hassan Qadir Rape and Murder Case Killed in ChichaWatni Police Encounter

ChichaWatni: Three accused wanted in the alleged kidnapping, rape and murder case of 14-year-old Hassan Qadir were killed in a police encounter in Chicha Watni, sources said.

According to police sources, the encounter took place during an operation conducted by SHO Ghala Mandi Police Station Samimur Rehman under the supervision of DPO Sahiwal Muhammad Usman Tipu. The accused were wanted in case No. 789/26 related to the kidnapping and brutal murder of minor Hassan Qadir.

The deceased accused were identified as Adnan, Shaukat and Shoaib Akhtar, all residents of Chak 2/10L. Sources said the accused had allegedly kidnapped Hassan Qadir, subjected him to sexual assault, slit his throat and later dumped his body in fields in the Harappa area.

Police sources said the victim’s motorcycle, weapons and empty shells were recovered from the scene. During the exchange of fire, Constable Muhammad Bilal was also injured.

According to sources, two known suspects managed to escape from the scene. Police have launched a search operation to arrest the remaining accused.

Further investigation into the case is underway.
