Punjab CNF Busts Major Ice Supply Network Targeting Educational Institutions
Punjab Counter Narcotics Force has arrested three accused, including the alleged main supplier Muhammad Yaseen, in a major anti-drug operation in Multan Division.
According to reports, the Multan Narcotics Control Station launched a 96-hour search operation after receiving a tip-off about a drug supply network. During the operation, officials arrested Iftikhar Ahmed and Shabbir Ahmed at Sher Shah Toll Plaza and recovered 16 kilograms of high-quality ice, along with weapons, from their possession.
During interrogation, the name of Muhammad Yaseen surfaced. Authorities said he allegedly confessed to supplying ice to educational institutions in different cities. Following the disclosure, Punjab CNF arrested him as well.
DG Punjab CNF Brigadier Mazhar Iqbal said that supplying drugs to educational institutions is a serious and destructive crime. He added that no concession would be given to such elements and that operations against drug dealers would continue across Punjab to protect the young generation.
The latest action comes as Punjab authorities intensify operations against narcotics networks, especially those allegedly targeting students and educational institutions.
