Petroleum prices slashed
Prices of three petroleum products have been slashed
The federal government has announced new prices of petroleum products.

The price of petrol has been maintained at 252.73 paise. Kerosene oil (kerosene oil) has been reduced by Rs 5.4 per liter. The price of light diesel has been reduced by Rs 4.58.

The new price of light diesel is 150.65 paise.

The price of high-speed diesel has been reduced by Rs 2 per liter. The new price of high-speed diesel has been fixed at Rs 254.64 per liter.

The price of kerosene is now Rs 164.65 paise.

Only the current prices of petrol will remain unchanged.

Federal government sources said that consultations continued after 12 midnight today to reduce the prices of petroleum products for the next fortnight. After 1 am, it was decided that for the time being, it is possible to provide relief to the public only in the prices of high-speed, light diesel and kerosene oil.
Sources said that due to the war expenses imposed as a result of the unprovoked aggression of the neighboring country during the last month of the financial year, the federal government was forced to reduce the price of only high-speed diesel. The decision to maintain the prices of the rest of the petroleum products was taken out of compulsion.

The Ministry of Finance has issued a notification of the prices after the approval of the Prime Minister.

Today’s reduction in the prices of kerosene, high-speed diesel and light diesel has come into effect as of the start of May 16 on the calendar.
