Pakistan Day Commemorated with fervour at University of Okara

The University of Okara (UO) commemorated Pakistan Day with great zeal with the Directorate of Student Affairs (DSA) organizing a special seminar where students delivered speeches and performed patriotic songs to highlight the significance of the Pakistan Resolution that set the course of action for the Indian Sub-continent’s Muslims to win their independent homeland.

The event was arranged by the Director Student Affairs, Dr. Shoaib Saleem and the Additional DSA, Dr. Muhammad Iqbal. A large number of faculty, administrative officers and students participated to demonstrate their patriotism and passion for their mother land.

The Vice Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Sajjad Mubin, in his special message at this eve, emphasised on the importance in struggle and dedication for the progress and prosperity of nations. He regarded pursuit of education as a cornerstone in socio-economic development and nation building.

The students, hailing from various societies, showcased heartfelt performances in connection with the Pakistan Day.
