After 29 years, Pakistan will host the Champions Trophy,
The opening match will be between Pakistan and New Zealand
The traffic plan for the matches of the Champions Trophy to be played at the National Stadium in Karachi on February 21 and March 1 has been issued.
Sir Shah Suleman Road will remain open for traffic during the matches, fans coming to the stadium will park their vehicles at the National Coaching Center and China Ground.
Those coming from Karsaz will reach the Coaching Center and China Ground from under the flyover. Heavy traffic will go from Sohrab Goth to Nipa, Liaquatabad No. 10 to Hassan Square, while heavy traffic coming from People’s Chowrangi will go to University Road. From Karsaz, Stadium, Millennium to New Town, Stadium Signal to Hassan Square will be closed for heavy traffic.
The DIG Traffic has appealed that fans should not park their vehicles and motorcycles on the road or service road, and that cricket fans should park their vehicles only at the designated places.
It should be noted that the opening match of the Champions Trophy will be played between Pakistan and New Zealand today.

Eight teams are participating in the ICC Champions Trophy 2025, with hosts Pakistan, New Zealand, India and Bangladesh in Group A, while Group B consists of Australia, England, Afghanistan and South Africa.
Pakistan will play their second group match in the event against India on February 23 in Dubai, while the third match will be against Bangladesh on February 27 at the Pindi Cricket Stadium.
Three matches of the Champions Trophy group stage will be played in Karachi, three matches in Lahore and all three matches in Rawalpindi.
The Indian team will play all three of its group matches in Dubai. The first semi-final of the event will be played at the Dubai Cricket Stadium on March 4, while the second semi-final will be played at the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore on March 5.
