Gold Prices in Pakistan  Fall Again After Hitting Record High

Gold Prices in Pakistan fall sharply again at the start of the business week, reflecting a major down turn in the global market.

In international trading, gold dropped by $218 per ounce, bringing the price down to $4,668. Just four days earlier, on January 29, gold had touched a historic high of $5,576 per ounce.

The decline has also impacted local markets.

On Monday, the price of gold per tola fell by Rs21,500, settling at Rs490,362.

Overall, gold has lost Rs82,500 per tola in the last three days, marking a significant correction after its recent peak.
