Dr  Ekaterina Gavrishyk inaugurates WDC Information Desk at University of Okara

The Women Development Centre (WDC), University of Okara, set up an Information Desk focused on women empowerment and gender equality. The desk was inaugurated by Dr. Ekaterina Gavrishyk, Director External Linkages.

The activity was arranged by the University’s nominated Woman Ambassador, Rbia Eman from the Department of Zoology. Students visited the desk throughout the day, collected awareness materials, and shared their ideas on how to create a safer and more inclusive campus environment.

The initiative highlighted the slogan: “No to harassment and Yes to empowerment!”

WDC expressed gratitude to all visitors, volunteers, and team members whose support helped make the activity meaningful and impactful.
