The World Health Organization (WHO) chief also stressed that his agency had timely declared the corona virus a global health emergency so that countries could prepare.

In many parts of the world, coronavirus patients are being tested on a variety of drugs, including the malaria drug chloroquine. The drug was described by US President Trump as “helpful” in treating corona.

Scientists in the United States have said that an antiviral drug called remedicavir is effective against corona. The drug was initially tested on a small group of monkeys and the results were satisfactory.
According to the AFP news agency, in the experiment, scientists infected two groups of monkeys with the corona virus, after which one group was given the drug and the other was not.
The drug has been developed by the company Gelaid Sciences, which conducts research and development of anti-virus drugs.
It should be noted that rapidsavir was considered to be one of the earliest drugs for the treatment of corona virus.
