Contact between President Trump and Imran Khan
US President Donald Trump and Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan have had a telephone conversation in which the two leaders discussed joint efforts against the global epidemic of Corona and its minimal economic impact.
According to a statement issued by the White House, President Trump spoke with Prime Minister Imran Khan.
The two leaders discussed global efforts against Corona. The two leaders agreed that concerted and joint efforts would be made to eradicate the epidemic in order to minimize its economic impact.
The two leaders also discussed the regional and global security situation and bilateral relations.
Trump has announced that he has announced a temporary ban on immigration to his country to prevent the spread of the corona virus.

President Trump tweeted Monday night that under the current circumstances, he will sign a decree banning immigration into the country under a presidential decree to prevent invasion of the enemy and protect the jobs of great American citizens.
Meanwhile, a statement issued by the Office of the Prime Minister of Pakistan said that the two leaders discussed ways to further strengthen Pak-US relations.
Prime Minister Imran Khan has expressed condolences over the loss of precious lives caused by the corona virus in the United States, while also informing about the efforts to prevent the spread of the epidemic.
According to the statement, the Prime Minister said that Pakistan is engaged in tackling the challenge of saving its people, especially the downtrodden, from starvation. The government has given a package of eight billion dollars for this purpose.

Thanking President Trump for supporting Pakistan in the IMF, the Prime Minister said, “The IMF’s deferral of loans will help Pakistan reduce its impact on Corona’s Pakistani economy.”
Talking about the regional situation, the Prime Minister said that Pakistan would continue to support political reconciliation for peace and stability in Afghanistan and steps for intra-Afghan dialogue in this regard would also be supported.
According to the statement, President Trump thanked the Prime Minister for the telephone call and assured that the United States would help Pakistan deal with the corona virus. In this regard, financial assistance to Pakistan as well as the supply of ventilators will be ensured.
Learning about Prime Minister Imran Khan’s Corona test, President Trump offered to send a rapid Corona test machine to the Prime Minister, for which the Prime Minister thanked him.
