South Korea (News Desk) – South Korea’s Constitutional Court has removed ousted President Yoon Suk-yeol from office over the imposition of martial law in the country.According to a foreign news agency, eight judges of Southhttp://zeeclassified.com/ Korea’s Constitutional Court unanimously upheld the impeachment of former President Yoon Suk-yeol.The South Korean Constitutional Court said that declaring martial law and sending the military to parliament violated the constitution, and that the president’s unconstitutional and illegal actions were a threat to democracy.The court said that Yoon Suk-yeol used the military for political purposes. According to the news agency, a new presidential election will be held in South Korea within 60 days.It should be remembered that South Korean President Yoon Suk-yeol imposed a brief martial law in the country on December 3, 2024, against which a no-confidence motion was presented by the opposition.
