Pakistan Announces Hajj 2027 Packages Up to Rs. 1.3 Million, Payments to Begin August 17

Islamabad: Pakistan has announced details of the Government Hajj Scheme 2027, with package costs reaching approximately Rs. 1.3 million and the payment process scheduled to begin from August 17.

Under the announced arrangements, the 40-day Hajj package will cost around Rs. 1.2 million, while pilgrims opting for the shorter 20 to 25-day Hajj package will have to pay approximately Rs. 1.3 million.

A total of 107,526 Hajj slots have been allocated under the government scheme. Of these, 30,000 seats have been reserved for pilgrims choosing the short-duration Hajj package.

In addition, 71,684 Hajj slots have been allocated to private Hajj operators, providing intending pilgrims with options between government-managed and private Hajj arrangements.

Hajj 2027 Application and Payment Process Goes Digital

A major change for Hajj 2027 in Pakistan is the shift towards a fully digital application and payment system. Intending pilgrims will be able to complete the process through the Pak Hajj app and online portal.

The digital system is aimed at reducing long queues and simplifying the application and payment process for Pakistani pilgrims. HBL will facilitate Hajj payments under the new arrangements.

The initiative forms part of broader efforts to modernize Pakistan’s Hajj operations and improve accessibility and convenience for pilgrims.

Prospective pilgrims are advised to follow official Hajj announcements and instructions regarding application requirements, payment schedules and other procedures.
