Lahore Basant: More than Rs 1.22 billion worth of kites were sold in Lahore on the fourth day, while the price of kites increased on the fourth day, while availability also increased. According to Malik Faizan Ahmed, more than 1 million kites were sold in the markets on the fourth day,

while more than 20,000 kites were sold. He said that a dead tawa kite is being sold for Rs 700, a tawa for Rs 400 and a poona tawa for Rs 300, a two-piece pana is being sold for Rs 12 to 15 thousand.

Malik Faizan said that on the first day, Rs 160 million was sold, on the second day, Rs 180 million, on the third day, Rs 200 million, while on the fourth day, Rs 68 million was bought and sold. He further said that the buying and selling of kites, gourds and pins is going on in other areas including the Mochi Gate Market, Islampura, Sanda, Samanabad, Nunarian and Ichhra.
