Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur has officially announced his resignation from office, stating that his decision comes in compliance with the directives of the founder of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI). Gandapur emphasized that he has always prioritized party discipline and will continue to do so in the future.
In his statement, Gandapur said he deeply respects the decisions made by the party leadership and will remain loyal to the guidance of the founder PTI. He assured that Sohail Afridi, who has been nominated as the new Chief Minister, will receive his complete support to ensure the continuation of public service and ongoing development projects across the province.

Earlier, senior lawyer and political analyst Salman Akram Raja confirmed that Gandapur had been removed from his position as Chief Minister and that Sohail Afridi had been nominated to replace him. Raja stated that the founder PTI had issued explicit instructions to the party leadership for this transition.
According to sources, Sohail Afridi is expected to take oath as the new Chief Minister in the coming days. Analysts view this reshuffle as a strategic move within PTI, signaling the start of a new phase in Khyber Pakhtunkhwaβs political landscape.
